This Christmas, I was big on setting family traditions. I was bound and determined to set traditions that we would continue every single year. Well, I need to get a grip. Liam was 4 months old...he will never remember what we did on his first Christmas. While Duff and Heather were here I dragged them to one of my "family traditions." We went to see lights in Wendall. I read great reviews and was super excited. Well, it was cold and not all that exciting.
Another family tradition I started was going to Santa's Living Room in Apex. We actually know the family that hosts Santa every year. (our Realtor) It was nice to catch up with her and see how she is doing. However, we learned that they are moving next year and will no longer be hosting Santa. So much for a tradition. It was still fun. It ended up being a beautiful night, so we didn't mind waiting outside for Santa. It was Liam's second time seeing Santa. What a lucky boy!
It is always great to see family. Next time we see them we will be celebrating a wedding!

You look so angry in this picture...like an angry elf!
We left with this. Santa was telling us how important marriage is. We will always have each other. He told Greg and I that we need to remember one another. Our marriage comes first, then our children. This is something we will always have to remember, and now we have this angel to remind us.
