A few of my favorite things: Month 5 and Month 6

1. You will grab my face and pull me in super close. You will open your mouth and just slobber all over my face. I like to think of this as your "kiss."


2. You have the best laugh in the whole wide world! Not to mention, the best smile. When I pick you up from daycare you instantly smile. You will chat the whole way home (if you don't fall asleep).  When we get home I like to take my bags in first, but before I do... I smile at you through the window. You look over at me and giggle and smile. You are soooo happy when you get home from daycare.


3. You love to take your paci out of your mouth. You try so hard to get it back in. Almost there - but not quite yet.


4. We can always get a smile out of you from the mirror.  You kick your legs and move your arms and make the funniest noises.  You are starting to recognize that the people in the mirror are you and mom/dad.  You look at us in the mirror, then look at us in real life and laugh/smile.


5. As you fall asleep in our arms you reach up and touch our face.  It's so comforting. You run your fingers across our face until you fall asleep.
