A few of my favorite things

Life happens. I have so many blogs written, but this sits on the computer without pictures. I have a lot of these posts to make up. I'm going to say a few of my favorite things from months 10-12. Yikes! Sorry Liam, I'm busy living...with YOU!


Month 10

1. You started sharing your paci with your dad and I. You will take it out of your mouth and put it in ours.  Your favorite time to do this is while we are putting you to sleep. You giggle, and this makes us laugh. It makes for a very interesting bed time!

2. You have these moments where you grunt with your jaw clenched tightly. You will stick out your bottom jaw and show your "teeth/gums" and grunt.  This typically happens when you eat, and it's the strangest thing ever.

3. You love TV remotes and cell phones. As soon as you see one not being watched you will crawl over really sneaky, touch it, and find someone to smile at. Then you start crying when we take it away.


Month 11

1. You started standing and pulling yourself up on furniture last month.  This month you are moving and cruising.  No walking yet, but you are an expert cruiser.

2. You love hugging stuffed animals.  This month you started hugging on command.  One day I even got you to hug a remote control.  You squeeze tight, smile, and sway side to side.

3. Last month you started crawling.  This month you have become much more comfortable with it. You are crawling, fast!!!

4. When you eat it's pretty typical for you to let KC lick your hands.  This month you figured out that you can actually feed KC. Ugh!! If you don't like something, you lean over and feed it to KC.  If you see something else you'd rather have you throw your food on the ground. I don't know what we'd do without KC, we would have a really dirty floor.


Month 12

1. You LOVE your pup. She kisses you, makes you laugh, and is a great pillow! However, when she runs in the room really quickly you get so freaked out.  You will stop what you are doing and crawl over to me super fast.

2. Speaking of KC, you know what to do when we say "what does a dog say?" You will pant and stick your tongue out. When KC barks, you will also bark. You've been doing this for awhile.

3. When you are done with your meal you will rib your bib off.  If you don't have a bib on you will get confused and tug on your shirt.

4. This month you started biting me! You typically will only bite me, and it's only on my left shoulder. At first I thought you were trying to nurse. The doctor told me to firmly say NO as soon as you do it and then walk away from you. Every time you bite, you laugh! Stinker!!

5. To go along with biting, you also started head butting.  You think this is HILARIOUS! I have to admit, it's hard not to laugh when you do this.  But sometimes, it really hurts.
