The Big Day

February 6th was the day were were going to tell the world our news!! To be honest, I was a little sad to tell everyone.  I knew it would be good to finally let the secret out, but I really enjoyed having a secret that only a handful of people knew.

We kept the secret in for 3 months, and I must say we were doing a pretty fabulous job at it.  We picked the date, February 6th, because that is my mom's birthday. I thought it would be a great day to tell the world and a fun present for my mom.  I can now remember this date for two special reasons.

I started the day out by breaking the news at a school meeting.  That was a relief because people were starting to talk.  I left early a lot for doctor appointments and there were only so many outfits I could wear that I didn't feel like a major elephant in.  

Then as soon as I came home I broke the news on Facebook.  Once it's "Facebook Official" that's pretty much it, there is no turning back.  The ENTIRE world knows now.

And I must say, it feels pretty awesome!
