Month 3 Recap

Due Date: August 8, 2013

Gender: I still think boy, but we will find out very soon!! Greg still thinks girl.

Feeling: Month 3 has been the worst!!! I am tired, have a headache, feel nauseous, and my smell is out of control. Week 14 and 15 were pretty bad. One night I went to bed crying because I had such bad pains in my stomach and I was freaking myself out that I was having a heart attack.  Can you say panic attack?? Greg was a huge help during these weeks.  He went grocery shopping, helped with dinner, and just left me alone.  At the end of month 3 we went to the doctor just to tell them about my symptoms.  Of course they are all normal.  I'm supposed to have some pains in my stomach; I have a growing baby inside me! I'm supposed to feel nauseous, I have so many hormones raging through my body. Some women experience issues with their smells, I'm one of those lucky women.  The doctor told me to try Claritin because some women develop allergies during their pregnancy.  My clogged sinuses may cause my smell to be heightened.

Maternity Clothes: got some, love them! I can breathe and they are SO comfortable!

Food Cravings: I've always liked pineapple so I don't know if I would call it a craving, but I'm eating a pineapple a week. I am also really enjoying Ginger Ale.

Food Aversions: Chicken and garlic, yuck!

Sleep: I've been sleeping pretty well.  I've moved to sleeping on my side, I heard this is the best position for the baby.  I'm pretty excited to get a body pillow to sleep with, but I don't think I need it yet! :)

Miss Anything?: sushi, chicken, and goat cheese

Best Moments: We went to the doctor's to talk about my symptoms but we also went to hear the baby's heartbeat.  It went all the way down to 140! I read a lot of baby blogs and this tells me I'm having a boy. The baby has also moved way up, he/she is right behind my belly button now.

Looking Forward to: finding out what we are having, registering, and decorating the nursery!
