Liam's First Christmas

We spent our first Christmas just the three of us in NC. Of course we were sad not being able to see our families and friends on Christmas day, but we sure did enjoy each other's company.  We normally jam pack our Christmas breaks full of things to do.  It was kind of nice to have almost two weeks off work just at home with the family. Liam had a great time.  He was held constantly and was spoiled rotten. Everyone tells me to enjoy it while I can, because it won't last forever. I did just that!

On Christmas Eve we went to church at Crosspointe. After church we came home to a brisket dinner followed by the opening of one Christmas present.

Liam is laughing at KC in this picture. No one can make him laugh like KC.

Christmas morning began with some breakfast made by Greg and the opening of presents. Liam must have been a very good boy, Santa brought him lots of things! Liam also had lots of presents under the tree from our family and friends.

One of his big presents was this exer-saucer.  He LOVES it!

One of our most prized possessions.  Our neighbors (at the time I was pregnant) made this stocking for Liam. It is something Greg and I will always treasure.  They moved back home before Liam was born.  One day we hope they can meet one another.

Matching bed heads!

After hours of Christmas movies and snuggles on the couch we got dressed and went over to the Stewart's for a Christmas dinner. When you don't have family in town it is nice to have friends that turn into family.

Lane and Grant are awesome with Liam. I know he will want to be just like them when he gets older.

I love this picture because it completely describes Lane and Grant relationship right now with Liam. Grant just wants a boy to play with, he is quietly reading Liam books. Then there is Lane, she just wants a human baby doll! And Liam - he just goes with the flow.

Even KC got to join in on the Christmas dinner!

Liam's first Christmas came and went by way too fast.  I enjoyed every moment and can't wait til next year. Or can I? - pulling ornaments off the tree, tugging on Christmas lights, knocking down decorations, etc. etc.
